An Elevated Culinary Experience

in a laid back, casual atmosphere

When we dreamt up Embers, music played a big role in the atmosphere we wanted to create. Our playlist is a little different featuring some of our favourites across the decades in rock and roll and country music. But for us, nothing beats the energy of live music! And by inviting local talent to play each week, our goal is to create a lively and fun atmosphere for guests to unwind with great tunes, delicious food, awesome cocktails and friendly, attentive service.

Quinton Dean is a Providenciales born Turks and Caicos Islander who has helped to put our little islands on the big stage for music. While he’s best known locally on the live music circuit as a solo performer, he’s also been successful in band ensembles, producing and touring on the world stage.

Provo residents might remember some of our favourite groups which include ‘Tropical Impulse’ with his brother Mike, and ‘Everyman’ in the mid-90’s. Quinton has international success as a session guitarist with popular reggae artists and has produced artists both locally and internationally. He spent time on tour with world superstar, Prince, as a guitarist – and it’s no surprise why when you hear him riff.

Quinton is certainly not your average one man band. He has arranged and played for all the backing tracks that accompany his live guitar and vocals during his performances. In addition to his riffing magic on the guitar, he also plays drums, organ and keyboard. Quinton has an incredible repertoire with over a thousand songs ranging from pop favourites to country and rock and roll classics – and everything in between.

Tuesdays from 6:30pm to 9:00pm

Bob Hawkins

What can’t we say about Bob?! He’s done it all musically at a highly professional level throughout his life, which in his 70s is substantial. Bob hails from the southern UK and spent his younger years as a session guitarist for many of the bands you came to know and love from the 70s and beyond. He’s a longtime permanent resident and retired here in Provo nearly 30 years ago. Bob plays lead guitar at an extraordinary level, is the sound engineer, mentor and drive master for the band – all of whom feel it a privilege to play with him.

Saturdays from 6:30pm to 9:30pm

Donovan Swann

Born in 1990, Donovan is the baby of the band. He’s a born and bred Turks and Caicos Islander with a quiet demeanour, until he starts hitting those drums. A talented percussionist, his alter ego takes over when he picks up his sticks. So committed to his music, after some 15 years with his employer, he changed careers so he could play all the gigs with the band.

Greg Doolittle

One of the band’s main vocalists, Greg is also a talented acoustic guitarist. Don’t let his last name fool you, this Canadian transplant to TCI contributes so much to the band. He is a permanent resident of 15 years, living and running his own business in Provo. Greg has one of those gravelly, rock and roll voices you’re sure to remember.

Brian Swann

Brian is a native Turks and Caicos Islander and a true professional in all that he does, especially when it comes to his music. Multidisciplined in several instruments, he currently plays bass for the band. He was part of the famed Turks and Caicos Band ‘Solie and the Gang’ in the 80s and 90s as a professional keyboardist and when Provo was…let’s just say different!
