Welcome to Embers

Grace Bay's Newest Restaurant

Embers is the newest addition to the Turks and Caicos restaurant scene, bringing a fresh, new approach to dining in Grace Bay. Our menu is unique and modern, combining Asian influence and Mediterranean flair with local ingredients and flavours. And, of course, we’ve got a fantastic selection of handcrafted cocktails, spirits, and boutique wines to complement your meal.

Discover umami-rich plates, pasture-raised proteins, smoke-infused vegetable preparations and innovative desserts. Owner and Executive Chef James Van Dyke, with his extensive culinary background in the United States, Bahamas, and Turks and Caicos, combines his passion and expertise, bringing Embers to life.

The Restaurant

Our philosophy at Embers is simple – food should taste amazing and evoke memories, ignite imagination, and foster a sense of community as we come together to eat. Falling somewhere between an appetiser and a main course, our dishes encourage you to order a variety of items so that everyone can explore something different. Embrace togetherness as you share a meal with those you share your table with.

Our menu showcases a fusion of Japanese, Korean and Mediterranean cuisines, with an emphasis on incorporating traditional local Turks and Caicos ingredients and flavours. Our wood fired hearth infuses a subtle smoky element adding an unforgettable depth of flavour to succulent braised meats and perfectly seared fish. Sides are more than just sides at Embers. Vegetable preparations take on a new level of creativity in this culinary experience. Finish it all off with a hearth fired cobbler or rum infused creation from our innovative dessert offering.

The Bar

Our bar was designed to showcase and enhance the creativity and craftsmanship that goes into each sip. Whether it’s a perfectly balanced classic cocktail or an innovative concoction, every drink is a work of art that is meant to be savoured.

Our ingredients are carefully considered. We prioritise fresh and organic wherever possible, complemented with house made syrups and barrel aged infusions. We believe that a great cocktail is more than just a drink – it is an experience that engages all the senses and leaves a lasting impression.

In addition to our signature cocktails, we also offer a carefully curated selection of wines, beers, and spirits. Join us at the Embers bar and let us take you on a journey of taste and creativity like no other. Cheers to that!

The Location

Our impressive open kitchen is framed by a twenty-foot-long butcher block, which highlights the star of the show – our 10ft custom live-fire parrilla grill. Taking inspiration from the wood-burning hearth, our indoor dining room and bar is designed around the element of fire. Natural wood, accents of vintage brass and leather details create a moody ambiance with fiery undertones. Whether you choose to dine inside, at the bar, or outside on the open-air patio you can enjoy the cool ambiance with the open kitchen on full display.

Our restaurant is located in Grace Bay at newly opened plaza: The Hub, formerly Queen’s Landing. We are in walking distance from most Grace Bay Resorts and villas, and just a quick 10-15 minute drive from Long Bay, Turtle Cove and Turtle Tail. Stop in for some great food, inspired cocktails and friendly, attentive service!
